For the record, I actually, genuinely enjoyed this episode.
The asylum idea was clever, the ‘save the daleks’ twist was clever, the broken daleks were even more terrifying than the fixed ones, the souffle thing was lovely, and Oswin has the potential to be the most glorious companion OF ALL TIME. I mean, seriously? A companion from the future? Who can outwit the Doctor? A lady genius? Love it. Furthermore, I love the idea of a dalek with genuine, unadulterated humanity, unaffected by the transformation. I loved the whole ‘I died outside and the cold preserved my body thing’. I just despise, with every fibre of my being, the way Moffat writes Amy. And has anyone noticed the way he recycles plots? The Amy-becoming-dalek thing was the same as Amy-becoming-weeping-angel. The nanogenes were from the Empty Child episode. He just mashed the two ideas together and out came an episode.
Edit: Just realised some of my tags weren’t working - I am SO sorry if I accidentally spoiled you, I should’ve double checked, that was so inconsiderate of me D:
