mrmikeflorio:

Creativity expert Sir Ken Robinson challenges the way we’re educating our children. He champions a radical rethink of our school systems, to cultivate creativity and acknowledge multiple types of intelligence.

“My contention is that creativity now is as important in education as literacy, and we should treat it with the same status.”

I first listened to him at TED in 2006 and after that I was hooked. I bought all of his book and odds are I’ve read ” The Element: How Finding Your Passion Changes Everything” at least 50 times. His views on education and creativity truly are awe inspiring and it a helpful motivator when you need it …

“If you’re not prepared to be wrong, you’ll never come up with anything original.”

and he’s also pretty damn funny … enjoy
