The Librarian
Bird has lived most of her life in a prison cell. She’s locked away hundreds of feet beneath The Library - the biggest (and only) library in the universe. The only lives she lives are those she reads about in the books smuggled to her by her fellow prisoners, and the occasional corrupt guard. See, Bird’s been banned from reading. For people like her it’s just too dangerous.
But one day the prison around her begins to crumble as The Librarian disappears, and she, the last of his band of Apprentices, is the only one who can save him, The Library, and the entire fabric upon which fiction relies. Accompanied by Worm, her illiterate guard, she sets out to rescue her captor before the things that live in the pages of the books begin to escape too…
I’m writing two books at once. This is mad. I WILL WRITE ALL THE YA FICTION. This one’s based upon a synopsis I wrote ages ago for the Shuffle Synopsis Challenge. In addition, I’m trying to write this one into a play and this into a short film. ALL OF THE WRITING.
